Kenneth B. Goodwin - Bio

Mr.  Goodwin is a senior executive with expertise in operations, financial  planning, global marketing and sales. He is skilled at developing  strategy and managing multi-disciplinary teams to implement plans to  successfully penetrate new markets and achieve profitability goals. He  has been in the food service equipment manufacturing industry for 35  years and has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of management, sales,  distribution and manufacturing within the industry with significant  experience in both domestic and international markets.

Mr.  Goodwin has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his  career, serving as President of Oliver Packaging & Equipment  Company, President of BKI Worldwide and Senior Vice President or Vice  President positions with major foodservice equipment manufacturing  organizations. He is a member of the National Association of Food  Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM), is a founding member of the Foodservice  Industry Council, New England Region (FICNE) and served on the Board of  Directors for Lancer Corporation and the Enodis Corporations Americas  Board.

His accomplishments include significant expansion of the  foodservice equipment offerings and launching the packaging business in  Europe while at Oliver Products. While President of BKI Worldwide, a  leading manufacturer of foodservice equipment servicing both the retail  and foodservice, he restructured the sales organization to more  effectively target and grow an under utilized foodservice channel. He  introduced a new distribution and freight program at Lancer Corporation,  saving over $1.0 million annually. As Global President, Key Accounts  for Enodis (a $1.3 billion global manufacturer of commercial  restaurant/kitchen equipment), his primary role was development of  strategies and creation of synergies between the operating companies and  global restaurants chains such as McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger  King, and Starbucks to increase global share from these premier  businesses and he led the sales business of a $100 million dollar  segment of Manitowoc Foodservice Corporation. He led both domestic and  international marketing and sales efforts of Frymaster and gained  significant experience in the Pacific Rim, including China and Japan. He  led Blodgett’s start up company: Rational Combi-Oven Steamer Division  and this new technology was successfully introduced into the U.S.  foodservice market.

Mr. Goodwin’s previous independent consulting  includes providing sales and marketing support, supply chain  management, international sourcing expertise for both Europe and China  and general management counsel.  In these capacities, he has worked with  large and small distributors (Prime Source), domestic and international  equipment manufacturers (AGA Foodservice, Belshaw, and Cecilware),  restaurant chains (Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts) and general business  consulting to non-foodservice related businesses. During these years Mr.  Goodwin spent over 2 months in China, visiting factories, qualifying  manufacturing operations as sources for finished goods and offshore  manufacturing.

 He holds a Master’s in Business Administration  from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a  concentration in marketing and finance and a B.S. Degree in Food Science  and Technology with a minor in chemistry and business from the  University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mr. Goodwin has also completed  executive courses at The Center for Creative leadership, Colorado  Springs, CO. and Harvard Graduate Business School, Finance for Senior  Executives.
